Arsenal have reportedly been leading the race to sign Gyokeres this summer; however, the Gunners may be in for a surprise.

According to Portuguese outlet Record, Chelsea have joined the competition to sign the Swedish striker, with the London club reportedly submitting a formal enquiry about a potential transfer. The Blues had been holding off on making any moves until after the Conference League final against Real Betis. After winning the final 4-1, Chelsea's decision-makers are now eager to secure a new attacking talent swiftly, aiming to finalise a deal before the upcoming Club World Cup.
