da gbg bet: Southampton picked up their first away win of the season as they beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at Selhurst Park on Saturday, and Saints fans were particularly impressed with the performance of Mario Lemina.
da jogodeouro: The midfielder was only making his second start for the south coast outfit following his club-record move from Juventus last month, and he helped his side recover from the disappointing 2-0 defeat to Watford at St Mary’s last weekend.
The Gabon international had a huge impact in the middle of the park and as well as making a number of interceptions and challenges, his distribution and energy was also impressive as Roy Hodgson’s Eagles rein got off to a losing start.
Southampton supporters were quick to have their say on the showing of Lemina via social media, and while some described him as ‘Victor Wanyama with skills’, others went as far as saying they haven’t enjoyed a performance from a Saints player like that since Adam Lallana left for Liverpool in 2014.
