da dobrowin: Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic has become the subject of summer transfer interest from Russian Premier League side FC Zenit, according to The Evening Times.
The paper have reported this week that they are preparing a £9m bid for the player, with an unnamed English Premier League side also interested in the Australian international.
Celtic though are hoping to hold out for as much as £15m, with the player having another four years left to run on his contract and the Scottish champions in no rush to sell.
Celtic fans aren’t happy about Arsenal’s bid for one of their key players…
Rogic has been a big part of the club’s three successive trebles, scoring 24 goals and assisting 21 times over the last three seasons, often in big games such as derbies against Rangers or in the 2017 Scottish Cup final.
Unfortunately though injuries, fitness and international football on the other side of the world have hampered his progress and he hasn’t made over 30 appearances in any of his seasons at Celtic so far.
Fans as a result seem happy to let him go as long as the right price is paid, with many taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the interest…
