da betsul: West Ham United boss David Moyes has insisted that club captain Mark Noble is not guaranteed a position in his first XI.
da gbg bet: Noble has not turned out for the Hammers since their 2-0 defeat at Watford in the Premier League in the middle of last month.
The midfielder was on the bench for his team’s clashes against Leicester City and Everton, but was not even included in the squad for last weekend’s trip to Manchester City.
Noble has been a constant for West Ham in recent years, but his form has been questioned in a number of quarters amid a difficult period for the London club.
When asked about Noble ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Chelsea, Moyes admitted that the 30-year-old would have to work to earn a recall to his first team.
Moyes told reporters:
“Mark is influential and great around the club but he’s not guaranteed a place in the team. Nobody is. I’m going to pick the players who are in form.”
Noble, who is valued at £6.3m by transfermarkt.co.uk, came through the youth system at West Ham, and has made over 400 appearances for the Hammers in all competitions.
