The 22-year-old’s loan spell at Elland Road has been wrought with injuries that have seen him sidelined for most of the campaign so far so, particularly considering the departure of Samu Saiz, Bielsa will surely be ecstatic that the Chelsea man is nearly back in contention.
Saiz’s exit has left the Whites lacking some creative spark and Brown will hopefully be able to ease the burden on Pablo Hernandez to create for the ever-dangerous Kemar Roofe – if the Englishman can get off to a good start there may even be no need for an attacking signing, leaving more funds for Bielsa to build on his thin defence.
